Runways Café re-opens 
On Feb 1, the restaurant at WWFC reopened under new management. Country Kettle Classics is the new operator with a new menu. Hours for the moment are 7AM to 3PM, but may be extended in the future. The place has had a nice facelift as well, so do drop by. Call 519-648-3050 for more info or reservations.
Wings banquet tickets on sale now!
The 2006 Wings Banquet is Saturday March 25 at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum located at the Hamilton Airport. The event is our opportunity to recognize members who have achieved licences or ratings over the last year. Last year's event was a smashing success at the Museum, we are doing it there again.
Tickets are just $30 and are available at dispatch. Get yours soon. The deadline is March 20.
Doors Open Waterloo
Doors Open Waterloo on September 16 th 2006 is part of a province-wide initiative of the Ontario Heritage Foundation. Multi IFR Fast-Track Program proves popular
WWFC is currently running the second course of our new 6 week Multi IFR program. The program enables students to obtain their initial Group 1 IFR by combining intensive groundschool, sim sessions and aircraft training components. YKF is ideally situated for IFR training, with 6 of its own approaches as well as more than 10 other airports with IFR capabilities within 50 NM. Email Addresses Contest We now have nearly 300 email addresses. That is about half our membership but we want the rest of you! If you have an email address but have received this newsletter via snail-mail, please contact dispatch with your information. We will be making a draw on March 1 for a $150 credit towards flying from among those who send in their email address by that date.

Applications for Sept 2006 Conestoga/WWFC program are underway. If you know someone considering a full time college aviation program, encourage them to consider our program as a close to home option. Our program retention rate is excellent (75%) and the on-time graduation rate is going to be over 60% this spring. Apply through the

Maintenance Matters
In September, the maintenance shop moved back to the hangar at the clubhouse. This makes servicing the club aircraft more convenient and has also eliminated the rental cost for Hangar 17. Peter Griffioen is our DOM.
Winter Hours at the Club
8 AM to 8 PM, 7 days a week.
Parking at Airport
A reminder that pay parking is in effect but club members park for free on the south side of the building provided they display their membership card on the dashboard.
Membership renewals
Club memberships are renewable every year in the month that you joined. The membership fee is still just $120. (plus GST).
Photos
Win an hour of flying! Submit your action (in-flight) photos (digital or film) of club aircraft. If we use your picture on the website or in a publication, you win an hour in a C 172!
