Online Scheduling FAQ
What is this?
It is simply a way to make your aircraft, simulator and instructor reservations online, without using a paper sheet.
Why are we doing this?
We'd like to make your experience with us better. We know you dont like waiting for the phone, or for someone to finish using the paper booking sheet. This way you can make changes to your schedule when you want to, even in the middle of the night. Of course, if you make an early booking with an instructor at 2:00 AM, they might not know about it in time.
How does it work?
Click the link from our home page. This will open a new browser window, and take you to the scheduling site. If you already have a login and password, sign into the system using that. If you haven't yet used the schedule, you can sign up as a new user and choose your own login and password.
When can I start using it?
We are putting the system into production on March 1, 2007. After that, when you sign up, it will take a day or so to approve your username and password.
Who can change my schedule?
Besides you, only our dispatch staff and system administrators can change your schedule.
This is too complicated. Why can't I just call in like before?
You can. Our dispatchers will make the schedule entries for you, just like with the paper booking sheet. You'll be missing out on some great features, though.
I don't want to give my email address. I have enough spam!
We don't sell, or give away your email address for any reason. Ever. Period. You won't be getting any spam because of us.
OK, I have signed up. Now what?
Once your login is approved, you can go on the site and start making your reservations. You can use the links at the top of the page to get help and watch demonstrations of how to use the system. Here are a couple of links to get you started:
Is this really secure? Are my reservations going to get lost?
The system is very secure. It has multiple redundancy features bullt in. Here are some of the details:
