How much will it cost?

In addition to normal Conestoga College General Arts and Sciences program tuition fees, Aviation students are advised that additional costs of flight training will be approximately $47,000 over the course of the two years.

How can I apply?

In order to start the application process for the General Arts and Sciences - Aviation program, please visit the Ontario College Application Services website.

Can I transfer credits and experience from other post-secondary institutions?

Conestoga College will accept transfer credits from other institutions in both aviation and non-aviation courses, as well as flight experience. Transfer students are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For more information, contact Bob Connors at Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre.

What will the schedule of a typical day in this program be?

During week days you can expect to spend some time at Conestoga College Doon Campus attending normal classes, and 2-3 days per week at Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre undergoing flight training. On a day at the airport, students will arrive at 8:00 am for two hours of ground instruction, and then do one or two training flights between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. Students are encouraged to be flexible with their availability in order to maximize the training effectiveness of different weather conditions, and other scheduling factors.
