Course Outline

The two year course consists of two main components; the academic component, and the flying component. For full details on the academics at Conestoga College, please visit their web site at www.conestogac.on.ca.

In the flight training, there are specific targets to be met in each of the academic semesters, as well as over the summer between the two academic years. They are as follows:

Year 1 Fall Term Private Pilot aircraft handling and airmanship
Year 1 Winter Term Private Pilot navigation and flight test
Year 1 Summer Term Commercial Pilot time building and flight test preparation
Year 2 Fall Term

Multi-Engine conversion training

Year 2 Winter Term Multi-Engine Instrument endorsement

In each of the academic semesters, there are some aviation-specific classes designed to complement the flight training.

Students wishing to be exempt from a given phase of training based on previous experience may request to do so from Waterloo-Wellington Flight Centre.
